The Schola Cantorum of St. Agnes provides choral music on Sundays for the Tridentine Mass (EF) at 9am and the High Mass (OF) at 11am, as well as other occasions throughout the year. The Schola Cantorum is comprised of four singers: a quartet. Since music is an integral element of Catholic worship, the Schola adorns every sung Mass with carefully selected and beautifully rendered repertoire drawn from the Church's abundance of sacred music. The Schola specializes in the chanting of Plainsong (Gregorian Chant), in addition to singing polyphony from the Renaissance, masterworks of the Romantic period, and even compositions written recently. By embracing every opportunity for beauty at Mass, the Schola Cantorum of St. Agnes seeks to make compelling music that is serious, universal, and inspiring.
